Hello, I’m Andrew Fridae, an interdisciplinary artist and craftsperson mostly in the theater industry. This is site is dedicated to showcasing my work. I am always looking for projects and collaborators.

Born in Winters, CA, I received a BA in Liberal Arts focused in Interdisciplinary Theater and Mathematics at Bennington College, VT. After graduating I moved to Portland OR, joining the celebrated Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre as well as the popular staple, The Northwest Children’s Theatre. After hitting my artistic director’s car I fled to California, taking over as director at the Winters Shakespeare Workshop. I produced live music events as owner at The Palms Playhouse, and helped found The Happy Hour Theatre. In 2021, I apprenticed for Capital Stage, which proudly produces some of the best work in the country, and worked there under many hats for a few years. These days I am one of their teaching artists, and occasionally hop onstage. I’m also developing a movie project, called The Donut Lady — the presentation materials are under construction, but if you like horror, please check it out — It’s really something else.
